Patrick Corrigan

Patrick leads Amnesty International UK’s work in across Scotland, Wales and NI as Head of Nations & Regions, having also previously worked and volunteered in peace and community relations organisations.

He has worked on a wide variety of local, national and international human rights campaigns and is a regular contributor to media on human rights matters.

He has successfully campaigned alongside survivors for a public inquiry into institutional child abuse in NI, helped mobilise tens of thousands of people in a successful campaign for equal marriage, and intervened in litigation challenging restrictive abortion laws.

Patrick enjoys working in partnership with other organisations. He is co-founder and board member of the Human Rights Consortium, and a governor of his local integrated school.
