Luna Lara Liboni

Luna  focuses on issues relating to homophobia and the lack of recognition of civil rights for LGBTI people.

She is Project Manager in the Council of Europe SOGI and was previously a Program Officer at the Italian Coalition for Civil Liberties and Rights, focusing on LGBTI refugees inside and outside EU which is motivated from her lived experience while studying International Human Rights Law in Ireland.

Luna has worked in the Middle East and Italy. Luna has produced a number of articles on the challenges faced by LGBTI asylum seekers in the EU.
