Harry Bateman

Harry is a filmmaker based in Northern Ireland. He produces video content for news outlet BelfastLive and under his independent label Toast City Productions.  Harry covers a wide range of topics, such as health, environmental and political issues and has an interest in documentary filmmaking.

One of his notable projects, The Power of Pause, received high commendation from the Drum Online Media Awards for its impactful portrayal of mental health challenges in Northern Ireland.

During his fellowship with SCI, Harry aims to create a comprehensive documentary exploring the experiences of stroke patients and survivors, as well as the policies surrounding thrombectomy procedures in Northern Ireland.
