Clodagh Traynor

Journalist

Clodagh Traynor is an Irish journalist dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices, with a particular interest in exploring women’s issues, health, lifestyle, sports, and more.

Clodagh is an NCTJ-accredited journalist with a master's degree in journalism and a BSc in Language and Linguistics with Counselling Studies from Ulster University. Since graduating in 2022, working on a freelance basis, she has contributed to numerous outlets, including the Belfast Telegraph, The Irish Times, BBC Newsline, BBC Sport NI, The Irish News, BBC Radio Ulster, NewsTalk and more. Clodagh’s expertise lies in conducting interviews and creating content in written, audio and visual formats.

Through her fellowship, Clodagh aims to amplify female voices and explore themes of prejudice and resilience in South Armagh. She plans to document the stories of local women, both historical and contemporary.
