Brian Pelan

Brian Pelan has more than 20 years’ experience as a journalist, including working for the Belfast Telegraph, the Western Mail in Cardiff, and the Examiner group in Cork. His skills include editing, design and features writing. Brian has also lectured on production journalism at the Belfast Metropolitan College, and he runs regular digital publishing masterclasses.

Brian is the co-founder and editor of VIEWdigital which offers an in-depth examination of social affairs issues.

During his fellowship, Brian will investigate and shine a light on the disadvantage and discrimination faced by people living with disabilities through lack of private taxi provision in co-partnership with disability campaigner Dermot Devlin.
